Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Flux application ("Flux" or "the Application") operated by Vector Costa Rica ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using Flux, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Definitions
"You" and "your" refer to the user of Flux. "Content" means data you submit (e.g. income, expenses, balances). "Service" means the Flux application and related support.
Account
Access to Flux is by invitation only; accounts are created by an administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify your administrator or us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
You will use Flux only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: (a) use Flux for any purpose other than personal or authorized financial planning and management; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Flux, other users' data, or our systems or networks; (c) transmit any malware, spam, or harmful code; (d) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application except as permitted by law; (e) use Flux in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with others' use. Breach of these obligations may result in suspension or termination of your access.
Intellectual property
We own or license all rights in Flux (software, design, trademarks, and documentation). These Terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property except a limited license to use Flux as provided. You retain ownership of the Content you submit; you grant us the license necessary to store, process, and display it to provide the Service.
Disclaimer of warranty
FLUX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT FLUX WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. FINANCIAL DECISIONS YOU MAKE USING FLUX ARE SOLELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VECTOR COSTA RICA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF FLUX, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED BY LAW.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vector Costa Rica and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of Flux, (b) your Content, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Flux at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for breach of these Terms. You may stop using Flux at any time. Upon termination, your right to use Flux ceases immediately. We may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Data on termination
If you wish to delete your account and associated data after termination, contact your administrator or the Flux team at Vector Costa Rica. We will process deletion requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Flux shall be resolved in the courts of Costa Rica, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will be revised when we do. Continued use of Flux after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. For material changes, we may notify you via the Application or email where feasible.
